Your participation at the October 21, 2007 cleanup was
appreciated
The cleanup and prevention of litter is a
focus issue of TimminsGetClean.
A Litter-Free School Zone program is a way of encouraging
students to keep their school grounds litter-free and help
raise the public's awareness of the problem of litter.
By introducing a Litter-Free School Zone program it will
encourage students, families, and neighbors to help keep
their community clean and litter free.
Students that are required to collect community hours are
reminded that TimminsGetClean is a non-profit organization
and community hours can be earned by volunteering for
TimminsGetClean scheduled cleanups. TimminsGetClean can
provide students with a signed letter stating the number of
hours earned or students may bring in their own school
forms.
TimminsGetClean would also like to remind students that
student community hours can also be accumulated.
We would also like to mention that posters are
downloadable from this site as well and can be
posted in schools.
Cigarette butts are litter too.
